Hi. I am trying to get my second blog up and on my wall- but unfortunately I failed- there were about 250 words when I hit publish and it said to select profile- I chose google account and BANG!-down to 0 words in 1 second. Needless to say I was very disappointed, I had not copied my post or saved it any where, so now I am starting over. I am more than a little frustrated. I have been up all day and got only 2 1/2 hours of sleep last night I am EXHAUSTED!!! This is the last thing I want to be doing right now. But this is for my online communications class so I must try to finish and try to do it right. Well here I go again, wish me luck!
YEAH!! Thank you Jesus for answering that prayer. I was out of ideas and very close to losing my temper and throwing a fit. Luckily I was smart enough to make sure I copied that blog and so even though it took 3 more tries to get the job done at least I didn't have to re- type the whole thing 3 more times. Ok I am out for today. Good night fellow bloggers.
Day 1. I have been up since 7:30 this morning visiting with my good friend, Zenas, whom I haven't seen in 22 years. Me and my brother grew up with him and his sister, because our parents were very close friends. I have known him for as long as I can remember, so he's more like family than a friend. I had to leave during his visit though; because a good friend of mine had passed away and I had to go to his funeral, but I talked him into staying until after. We are having a good visit, it is like old times. It is good to reminise, it brings back memories long since forgotten. He is outside smoking right now so I asm taking this opportunity to do my homework- which consists of posting this blog, a tweet, and a facebook status update. See you tomorrow. God Bless.
I am going to have to go to bed earlier from now on, all these late nights and early mornings are too much for this old lady. So I have been doing my online class and it is alright. I think that twitter is pretty fun even if I don't have any followers, at least I can see how it would be fun for today's youth, and the electronically savvy. Figuring out how to get a group of strangers to collaborate on a website was a little more challenging. I noticed that there were only a couple of leaders in the group, and since I want to do well in the class I was one of them. We were lucky enough to have a computer geek on our team, which is great news! He is also one of the leaders. Now I just hope he will be able to continue with the technical support for the rest of us through out the project. He already has the website up and running but the rest of the group is lagging on getting registered on the website page... Oh well that is on them, I will just keep doing what I have to do and if I have to, I will poke them with a stick, ha ha, just kidding!
Week 3- Feb. 15-21 Well I am more than a little mad, I forgot to tweet on twitter and ruined my perfect record and thus my perfect grade! That's funny, cause I am actually hoping to do well in this class, but not perfect! ha ha ha. Good news on the website collaboration project- we picked a topic and its something I feel amply qualified to write a page on. I am going to do some videos and post them on youtube tomorrow so they will be ready to use as hyperlinks on my page of our website. I will also be taking pictures and using them to illustrate the text on my page. They should add some color and flavor to the page. I am enjoying the classes I am taking very much and I hope to take more next semester. Talk to you all again next week.
